TRAIN ATHLETE ACCOUNT DELETION

Delete your
Train Athlete account.

Effective date: 22 September 2026

You can delete the Train Athlete server account used for exercise demonstrations and optional Google identity linking. This is separate from training saved on your Android device.

Delete in the app

Open Profile → Account → Privacy & Data.
Choose Delete Train Athlete account.
Read the consequences and select Permanently delete account to confirm.

You need a current authenticated Train Athlete session and an internet connection. If the request fails, the app does not report success and you can retry.

Cannot access the app?

You can start an off-app deletion request even if you no longer have the app or its session. Use the postal contact and identity-verification steps below:

Write to TRAIN ATHLETE LIMITED, 4 Hill Top Road, Newmillerdam, Wakefield, England, WF2 6PY. Mark the envelope for Train Athlete Support or Data Protection, as appropriate.

If you cannot use the app, write to the registered office, mark the envelope 'Account Deletion Request', and include your name, any Google email linked to the account or the Train Athlete account identifier if available, plus a safe postal address for the response. This lets you initiate deletion without reinstalling the app. Train Athlete will use proportionate checks to confirm that the request relates to your account and will ask only for information reasonably needed for that purpose. Never include a password, access token, backup passphrase or health record.

Do not send passwords, access tokens, backup passphrases or health records with a request.

What server deletion covers

The service removes your Supabase authentication account, known account-owned server files where applicable, and account-linked server records. Optional social, Strava or billing services are not enabled in the current public-release configuration. Deletion of the server account does not imply those optional services hold data for every user.

What it does not remove

Workouts, history, progress and private media held on your device remain there unless you remove them through app or Android controls. Delete exported backup files separately. Google, Health Connect and originating apps may hold their own records; manage those with the relevant service. Clearing app storage or uninstalling does not itself delete a Train Athlete server account.

Timing and any retained information

The account-deletion backend was tested with disposable accounts. A request can still require identity verification, and technical logs or recoverable backups may follow a different retention schedule. Do not assume every copy disappears immediately.

After identity is verified, Train Athlete completes server-account deletion without undue delay. The active Supabase authentication account, known account-owned server files where applicable and linked server records are removed. Limited security logs, request correspondence or residual backup copies may remain until the applicable provider cycle expires or for as long as reasonably needed to prevent abuse, establish that the request was completed, meet a legal obligation or deal with a claim. Those retained records are not used to continue the deleted account and are removed or anonymised when the reason for keeping them ends.
