These terms describe use of the Train Athlete Android app and website.

The service and provider

Train Athlete is an Android fitness app provided by TRAIN ATHLETE LIMITED, company number 17468775, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 4 Hill Top Road, Newmillerdam, Wakefield, England, WF2 6PY. It offers athlete-inspired training content, workout creation, demonstrations, logging and progress information.

Hybrid Planner — skills-only plugin terms

The Train Athlete Hybrid Planner is a separate optional plugin for ChatGPT and Codex offering original general-fitness planning, one-week and conditional four-week schedules, training-balance review and template discovery. It does not connect to a Train Athlete mobile account, save workouts into the Android app, offer purchases or retrieve private training or health data. You choose which ordinary planning constraints to supply to your host.

The output is general fitness guidance, not clinical advice, rehabilitation, diagnosis, a personalised medical prescription, or a promise of athletic results. Consider your abilities, available equipment, training experience and recovery before following a suggestion; seek appropriately qualified guidance when necessary. Progression is conditional and not a guarantee.

The ChatGPT/Codex host is provided by a separate company and is subject to its own applicable terms and privacy controls. Train Athlete does not guarantee host availability, memory, automated script execution or persistence of your plan. A host without calculation execution may explain written rules instead of providing machine-validated checks. The skills-only plugin does not include remote MCP functions or app-account sync. Eligibility and acceptance

You may browse the website without creating an account. To use the Android app, you must be legally able to agree to these terms. If you are under 18, use Train Athlete only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian. By using the app, you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, do not use it. Google Play provides the Android app download; this website does not process app purchases or account registration.

Fitness information and safety

Workouts, demonstrations, estimates, charts and other content offer general fitness information, not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or clinical monitoring. Choose training appropriate to your abilities and circumstances. If you have concerns about an activity, seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional.

Use suitable equipment and surroundings, follow appropriate technique and stop if an activity causes pain or concerning symptoms. You decide whether to undertake an activity and are responsible for the information you enter. Connected-service data and estimates may be incomplete or inaccurate; do not rely on them for clinical or safety-critical decisions.

Accounts and local training data

Use only an account you are authorised to access and protect your device and sign-in method. Google sign-in does not provide workout cloud backup. Export a manual backup before clearing app storage or uninstalling, and keep its passphrase safe; Train Athlete cannot recover it. Server-account deletion is available through Privacy & Data in the app. The deletion guide explains its scope and the off-app request route. Deleting the server account does not erase local workouts, exported backups or records held by Google or Health Connect.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, bypass access controls, impersonate others, distribute malicious material, infringe others’ rights or extract licensed demonstration content for unauthorised redistribution. Use personal media only where you have the rights and permissions needed.

Intellectual property

The app, website, brand and content belong to Train Athlete or their respective licensors. Rights in your own content remain yours. Permission to use the app does not transfer ownership of its content. Athlete references do not imply sponsorship, approval, endorsement or affiliation.

Third-party services

Google, Health Connect and other service providers have their own terms and privacy arrangements. Their data, permissions and availability may change. Strava and community features are disabled in the current public-release configuration.

Availability and payments

The app is being prepared for public release; availability and features may change. This website does not offer a download, subscription or payment. Any future paid service would require its own prices and purchase, renewal and cancellation terms before purchase.

Changes, suspension and termination

These terms may be updated when the service, law or providers change. The current effective date is shown at the top. Material changes will be brought to users' attention through the app or website before they take effect where reasonably possible. Train Athlete may suspend access needed to protect users, investigate misuse, comply with law or maintain security, and may stop a service with reasonable notice unless urgent action is required. You may stop using the service and request server-account deletion at any time.

Responsibility and remedies

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where that would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or mandatory consumer rights.

Train Athlete will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. It does not promise that every feature, connected-service measurement or demonstration will always be available, complete or error-free. You remain responsible for choosing training appropriate to you and for protecting your device, account and exported files. Train Athlete is not responsible for loss caused solely by your misuse, an unavailable third-party service outside its reasonable control, or failure to follow clear backup and safety instructions. These terms do not reduce any remedy or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.

Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, but if you live elsewhere you keep any mandatory consumer protections and rights to use the courts available to you under applicable law. To raise a complaint, write to Train Athlete Support at the registered office with enough detail to investigate and a safe postal address for the response. Privacy complaints may also be made to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
